After sports day, we decided to explore Nakhon some more. The most important temple in southern Thailand is here in Nakhon—Wat Phra Mahathat Woromaha Vihan. 10 Baht if you can pronounce that one. The temple is absolutely gorgeous and so different than anything I have ever been to before. Also we came from sports day, so I had my running shoes on. Bad day to wear running shoes when you have to slip then on and off for every other room you go into in the temple. It was worth it though.
