{train views}
After the longest train rides of my life, we are finally in Chiang Mai. Our first train ride was almost 18 hours long. And we didn't have A/C because the A/C part was full. The beginning of the train ride was so beautiful. The countryside in Thailand is just breathtaking. It started raining too and we had the windows wide open. The fresh air blowing in was just perfect and just what we needed. But come night time, in our little sleeping pods, it got so hot. I slept on the top bunk with no window. I've never felt so gross in my life getting off that train. Then we Stephan had to drag so many pounds of luggage off the train. But, we made it safe and sound with all of our luggage. Woohoo! Such a good feeling, knowing that we will be here for a while. I am stealing internet right now, but hopefully I will have a good connection soon. I need to write my farewell letter to Nakhon and finish showing you the rest of my students, before I get some cute new students. Hope your week and weekend have been the greatest!
