One of the many reasons for staying in Thailand another year is to travel. I am so grateful that I have gotten to experience four countries in Asia so far, but there is so much more I want to see! I feel like I should be doing some traveling now, but moving to Chiang Mai has been a journey within itself and I am having to pinch pennies a little bit, since I won't be getting paid until May. Plus I have a big trip home coming up. So for now I will just be daydreaming, looking at pictures, and writing about where I want to be traveling.
I think living here another year will give us plenty of more time to see the places we want to see. We will have a big break in October for traveling, and then we get Christmas off (YES!), and then summer break next year. The top places on my list right now are Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Japan and China. I also want to see more of Malaysia (maybe the Perhentian Islands) and more of Indonesia.
