Wai Kru Day is teacher appreciation day in Thailand. It's way different than any kind of teacher appreciation day in the States. Classes are cancelled, there are long practices, the students make elaborate bouquets of flowers and then there is a ceremony. These pictures were taken at the ceremony, where the kids present their bouquets, sing songs, and bow to the ground in front of their teachers.
