Ao Nang and Railay are too beautiful to not post lots of pictures. We stayed in Ao Nang, a beautiful beach town in Krabi, the first night. We enjoyed the most amazing Indian food, but also got ripped off for buying two rice (rices?) for 100 THB each. That’s expensive. Considering you can get rice here for 10 THB. Other than that it was wonderful. Ao Nang is a touristy town right along the beach with shop after shop of neat souvenirs. The next day we took a long tailed boat to Railay. Railay is only accessible by boat, but is not an island. It is connected to Ao Nang, but secluded by cliffs and forests. Lots of rock climbers come to Railay to enjoy their sport. Stephan and I explored the island and enjoyed every minute of it. When the sun was setting we sat at a cute little restaurant on the water, drank ginger tea, and snapped pictures of the sun disappearing behind the cliffs. Talk about being thankful for where you are. Ah it was breathtaking. Railay is so beautiful.
