For our Christmas/New Year celebration, Stephan and I went to Bangkok and had a fancy night out. We needed to be in Bangkok anyways to meet Eric and Bria, so we went up a couple days earlier to celebrate the New Year. I was sick (this is becoming a common occurrence) on actual New Years Eve, but luckily we went out the night before. Here's what we did:
//Got a little fancy.
//Went to this Mediterranean restaurant on a rooftop overlooking some of Bangkok. I'm not sure if Thais know how to cook Mediterranean food though, but the view and the company (Stephan) made it completely worth it.
//Sat at this fancy table.
//Sipped on this little bloody mary.
//Had a view like this.
//And...a view like this. Perfect.
//Self timer at its finest.
And...we ate, but there is not much evidence of our food. We split a salad, some pasta and something else hmm I can't even remember. Honestly, I think we felt a little sick to our stomachs paying the price that we paid for the food, when you can get amazing meals for $1 here. But like I said, we had a beautiful view and got to enjoy each others company, what more could ya need!
