First elephant sighting! Stephan, Svetlana (our new friend from New York) and I were riding along in the back of a Songthaew (pronounced Songtell) —a bigger version of a Tuk Tuk— and we were on a tiny little street in the middle of nowhere AND BAM an elephant just walking down the street with someone sitting on its back. I was speechless and had to snap a blurry picture. I have yet to see another real, live elephant and trust me, when I do you will surely know.
